Dual Enrollment Information
Students attending California high schools or eligible adult schools can take classes at De Anza for credit. There are some restrictions and requirements.
Information can be found on the Dual Enrollment webpage maintained by our Admissions and Records Office.

The Community Education Division at De Anza offers year-round academic enrichment and special interest classes for students in grades 1 to 12, including an exciting, rigorous and comprehensive Summer Academy. Classes are open to all students regardless of their school district.

Free, Noncredit Classes
Want to learn a new subject, improve your skills, or get ahead in your job or career? De Anza now offers FREE noncredit courses and certificate programs in Automotive Technology, Computer Information Systems, English as a Second Language, Photography, Real Estate and other subjects.
- No tuition or registration fees
- No prerequisites or placement tests (except for English as a Second Language)
- No limits on repeating a noncredit course
Problem logging in?
After you are admitted to De Anza, you will receive an email with your 8-digit student identification number, also known as your Campuswide ID, or CWID. You'll need this number to log in to MyPortal, the online gateway to De Anza's student registration and records system.

Problems with Canvas?
The Online Education Center at De Anza College provides resources for students who are taking online, hybrid or face-to-face courses that use Canvas. You can open a ticket or report a problem by clicking on Help in Canvas. You can also call the Online Education Center at 408.864.8969 during normal business hours.

Financial Aid - How to Get Help Paying for College
There are a number of programs designed to help students pay for college. Our Financial Aid office can help you through the process. Here are some webpages that may answer your questions.
Paying Fees at De Anza
You can pay your college fees online, in person or by U.S. mail. You may also be able to pay on an installment plan. But you should be aware of the rules and policies for payment. Here are some webpages that may answer your questions.
Help with Choosing Classes, Deciding on a Major or Setting Academic Goals
You can get started on these decisions by taking orientation and developing an educational plan. Depending on your program, you may also have a division counselor available to help. In addition, you can contact your counselor or the Transfer Center for help with specific questions.

Please Allow Time to Process Your Application
It can take 7 to 10 business days to process the application you submitted through the OpenCCC system. Once your application is processed, you will receive an email from De Anza College with your eight-digit Campuswide ID number (also known as your CWID or De Anza student ID number) and instructions for how to register for classes. You will need to use your CWID, not your OpenCCC number, to register.

Ordering Transcripts / Verifying Degrees or Enrollment
Transcripts: You can order an official De Anza College transcript by using the online order form
on MyPortal or from the website of our authorized transcript provider, Parchment.
(If you want to submit a transcript from another school in order to receive credit
from De Anza, you will find more information on our Transcript Evaluations page.)
Verification of degree or enrollment: You may obtain an official verification of your degree or enrollment status by contacting
the Admissions Office. Automated, immediate verifications may be available from the National Student Clearinghouse, the authorized De Anza College vendor.
Student Loans and Other Financial Aid
If you have a question about financial aid or repaying a student loan, you will find useful information on these webpages

Renting a Facility at De Anza
De Anza College offers numerous spaces to rent for special events or corporate meetings. The
campus has more than 116 classrooms and lecture halls, 43 labs, a state-of-the-art
theater, and several beautiful outdoor spaces. All of our lecture facilities are "smart
classrooms," equipped with projection, computers, white boards and document cameras.
