One Page, Typed and Double-Spaced
This assignment has two parts, a presentation and a written component. The presentation is a group presentation, but each individual student must have his or her own written component.
Presentation
The presentation should be short, two to four minutes for each person in your group. Each member of the group should have a transition to the next member except for the last person who will present. The last person who presents should refer back to the first person in the group.
In addition to the transition your presentation should answer some or all of the following questions:
- What is the issue? Why is it important? Who is most affected?
- What organizations or groups of people can help to solve the problem?
- Are people in power trying to do something about the problem?
Written
The written portion of this assignment should have the following components:
- A brief guide for your presentation. The guide can be in bullet form or paragraph form.
- The transition to the next person in your group.
- A works cited entry for your primary source.
