Public Speaking
Course Description
Theory and techniques of public speaking in a democratic society. An introduction to a variety of perspectives and approaches used to research, assess, organize, present, and evaluate public presentations. Students will develop and apply effective research strategies.

COMM 001.01V: This class is part of the IMPACT AAPI Learning Community, designed to help first year students succeed through community-building, and Asian American/Pacific Islander focused curriculum. This is a HYBRID class that has both online and ON CAMPUS attendance requirements. Requires concurrent enrollment in CLP 005.01V (36908) and EWRT 002.01V (38280).
