Quick Notes for the Week of June 23
This Week
Dining Services Hours
The Campus Center food court will be open from 7 a.m.-2 p.m., today – Tuesday, June
24 – and tomorrow – Wednesday, June 25. The food court will be open for breakfast
and brunch only, from 7 a.m.-noon this Thursday, June 26 – which will be Dining Services'
last day.
The food court will begin operating under Pacific Dining this Monday, June 30. The new hours of operation will be 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, during summer session. During fall, winter and spring quarters their hours of operation will be 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Graduation Is Sunday, June 29
Apply for Your Degree and Order Grad Packs
This year's collegewide grad ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 29, beginning at 3 p.m. in the Santa Clara Convention Center, 5001 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, California.
Everyone is invited to submit digital Congrats Cards for a favorite grad, or the entire Class of 2025.
If you're planning to graduate this year, please remember these deadlines:
- This Thursday, June 26, is the last day to buy graduation regalia in person at the campus Bookstore. (Not all sizes may be available. The deadline has passed to order online and have items shipped in time for graduation.)
- This Friday, June 27, is the last day for students to apply for their degree in order to have it awarded for spring quarter. (There is no deadline to participate in the ceremony, but students must have filed their application by June 16 in order to have their name listed in the printed graduation program.)

Commencement Livestream
For those who can’t make it to the Convention Center, the event will be livestreamed with captions, beginning at 3 p.m. at deanza.edu/graduation.

Students and their families can attend a variety of end-of-year celebrations in anticipation of Commencement.

- "Red Wheelbarrow" Student Edition Launch and Awards – Wednesday, June 25, 6-8 p.m., on Zoom
- Nursing Pinning Ceremony – Thursday, June 26, 1:30-3:30 p.m., Sunken Garden
- Auto Tech Graduation Breakfast – Thursday, June 26, 8:30-10:30 a.m., Conference Rooms A&B
- Veterans Resource Center Graduation and Transfer Celebration – Friday, June 27, 5 p.m., Conference Rooms A&B

De Anza Academy
There's Still Time to Enroll
Parents can register K-12th graders now for programs offered this summer by the De Anza College Academy. Classes start Monday, June 30, and run through Friday, July 25. The academy is open to students of all school districts.
Registration is open now through Thursday, June 26.
Courses for middle and high school students will include robotics, coding, 3D printing, science, sports, writing, mathematics, graphic design and more. Art classes for kindergarten through fifth grade students will also be offered at West Valley Elementary.
De Anza Academy courses are taught only for enrichment purposes – credits, grades and homework are not offered. Spots fill quickly, so make sure to register soon.
