Music 12A, 12B and 12C
Piano
The aim of these courses is to develop practical keyboard facility and reading skills as efficiently as possible. The following areas will be included in the course curriculum: major scales, major and minor triads, harmonization of melodies, prepared performances of selected pieces, ensemble playing, and improvisation in a variety of styles, rhythms, and textures.
The final grade for the quarter will be determined by the Midterm Examination, and the Final Examination.
